Impressions: Project X Zone 2

Let me just say this: I am impressed, I am thirsting for the game now.

This game is badass, like seriously badass. I’m so enthused I decided to give it a try, best decision in my life ever!

I thought this was going to be a fighter like Blazblue, but nope. It’s an interesting hybrid of SRPG and fighting. The maps/style are like Devil Survivor series, but when entering fights it’s badass, no barrels hold, kickass fighting combos. I never thought I’d see this kind of mix, but it works so good!

The combos/moves are flashy, fun and just plain awesome. This was a load of fun, plus it is a big demo, love that! Prologue + a few available chapters, and if you keep the save from the demo, you get bonuses for the full game (≧∇≦)/

I’ll admit my interest in this, prior to playing it, was solely that it had Ace Attorney characters in it, but after this I’m now thirsting and adding it to my wishlist “ψ(`∇´)ψ

Definitely a demo worth playing, and it has story, with cute but detailed graphics, and such a wide range of characters. I’m really looking forward to more. Why can’t I play it already ;_;

Have you heard about this game before? Have you played it? If so, I’d love to know what you think of it!

You Gotta Solve Your Own Murder in Ghost Trick – Phantom Detective

This is a hard one to talk about, much less review. I’ve been toying with the idea of talking about GT since I did my AA ones, way back in February but never did it because I’m such a huge fan, and I loved this game so much. It’s hard, okay? I’ve cried with this game, in happiness. Something I’ve never done before in RL much less because of a game!

So I figure, I should really talk about it. Even if I fail or suck, I still want to broadcast my undying love for this game.

I came to this game…very fearful. Shu Takumi was not involved because it’s a spin-off focused on Edgeworth because he’s popular with the fans.

After being sorely disappointed by Justice for All I approached this game with a certain trepidation. Justified, since I was expecting it to follow down the same path.

Thankfully, this game blew both Justice for All and Phoenix Wright out of the water.
