After her father unexpectedly passes away, Mackenzie inherits the family business: a renowned detective agency in a fantastic world populated by mechanized butlers and walking skeletons. With the aid of cheerful mushroom-man Funghi and robotic servant Cromwell, Mackenzie sets off to prove herself worthy of being called… the Touch Detective!
This is a very upbeat, funny game with really nice graphics and really out there solutions to the mysteries. Which is fine, the game isn’t touted as a super serious, realistic detective mystery. Is a really cute detective/puzzle/adventure game. McKenzie has a pet mushroom and weird friends that get involved in the weirdest situations.
In fact, the game makes full use of its comedic and unrealistic circumstances to bring a warm smile to my face as I got to know friends and strange animals in a very self-contained world.
The episodes have a real nice length to them, while the gameplay reminds me of point and click games of the 90’s without the bad parts.
This game isn’t for everyone, but if you need a break and want to just come into a new story and know it’ll be fun and engaging, try the game out.
Happy gaming everyone! （-＾〇＾-）
